Lomi

Ingredients:
  • 500g lomi noodles
  • 500g pork, thinly sliced
  • 125g shrimps (remove shells)
  • 1/2 pack fish balls, cut in halves
  • 1/2 pack kikiam, sliced diagonally
  • 1 large onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 small carrot
  • 1/4 head cabbage
  • pechay baguio
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 2 liters of water
  • flour to thicken
  • salt and pepper to taste
How to cook it:

Boil water in a pot.  Put lomi in boiling water to loosen the tangle.  Remove immediately and set aside.  Discard the water.

Fry the garlic and onion in a pot.  Add the pork and fry a little.  Add the water.  When the pork is tender add the shrimps, fish balls and kikiam.  Put in the lomi and stir.  When the lomi is boiling, gradually pour in the beaten eggs.  Stir briskly.

Put flour in a bowl of water and mix.  When the flour is dissolved, pour slowly into the boiling lomi.  Stirring briskly, add vegetables, cover and turn off the heat.
